Me hopping off of a rock and finishing a nice powder run. The Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah.
I was desparate, There was no snow or cold in the weather forecast, so I booked a cheap ticket to Utah and met up with some other tele skiers from Whitetail PA, Niko, Brian, who was out there for work, Chris and Abby who each moved out to SLC. Even on a bad day in Utah, the conditions are better than most good days back east. It is either sunny or snowing, and we had several days of sun and a nice powder day. My legs were ready to go, since I've used a trainer at the gym whose father was an olympic skier. We all tackled the steeps and trees and awesome terrain and snow that Utah always offers. After 6 straight good ski days, I took the last day off to go to the Sundance film festival with my friend Kim. It was a cool scene, I'm a film lover, so we caught the world premiere of a movie called "Trade", which was a drama about human trafficking in Mexico and the US. I was really impressed with the film, the director and actors were all on hand for a Q&A session afterwards. Something to look forward to on future trips to Utah...
