First Turns.. THINK SNOW!!

I had my first spring skiing today, January 3, in the middle of winter. With temps near 50, I went to Elk Mountain and skied their open trail for the afternoon. Considering the fact that we haven't had natural snow yet, the trail was in great shape. That happens when your groomers and snowmakers only have one place to focus their work. Unfortunately, with the current forecast, we won't have below freezing temps for at least another week. We have rain and 50 degrees coming for the weekend. Apparently it's El Nino time. Time to plant the daffodils.
