My current and former homes. To quickly summarize some things I've been up to lately, it goes back to early nov. The Holiday Inn across the street from my apartment was impoded, I videotaped it, it was awesome. You don't live in Scranton without seeing a live implosion in your life. Linsen and I hung out alot in the fall as she was working in Scranton and I was...in Scranton. I took a drive up to Toronto to meet Lauren, my wonderfully lovely Australian friend that I met in Romania. She was on her way home, so in catching up with her, I was able to hang on to a piece of summer. We even had some Gelatto (Avocado flavored). After returning from Toronto, Linsen and I colored our hair black and began quoting Borat for at least 2 hours a day. A trip down to the Ecovillage followed, where we hung out with my bro Andy for the week of Thanksgiving. This is an environmental intentional community, off the grid, with composting toilets and such. They had great food, and a field where we had a thanksgiving day football and soccer game. I reconnected with my friend Alia in NYC, which was good since she just got back from a 10 month trip through Pakistan, India, SE Asia. In fact, her blog inspired mine, and her tales gave me a firm kick in the arse to get up and go.
December rolled on in and the ski tickets I bought for Elk mountain have been collecting dust. Still waiting for those first tracks/turns....
