Land of the Whiskey Robber

One of several things that inspired me to visit Eastern Europe was the book "The Ballad of the Whiskey Robber".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attila_Ambrus
Attila Ambrus was from Romania, but in the late 80´s, hid under a train and rode into more progressive Hungary. He became a hockey goalie and one of the most famous and loved bank robbers, carrying out his acts in Budapest in the 90´s. If you have time to click the short link above to read, I assure it is entertaining. It will be a movie soon with Johnny Depp.
